Item description

Brand new factory sealed set of 6-disc. Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and no longer being produced. At the end of the previous seasons cliffhanger finale, Agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) is abducted by aliens (and in dispute over money in his rerun contract). So, he is in about half of this seasons episodes, enter Agent John Doggett (Robert Patrick) to fill in the gaps. He is assigned to the X FILES and works with Agent Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) to look for explanations to several cases. When Scully learns that several women have been abducted and impregnated by aliens, she begins to question her own pregnacy. Agent Doggett introduces Dana Scully to Agent Monica Reyes (Annabeth Gish) an FBI Specialist in ritualistic killings, shortly before Mulder's dead body is found in a forest at night. Following his funeral, Assistant Director Walter Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) is threatened by Alex Krycek that Scully's baby must be killed before it is born. Reluctantly accepting Krycek's assistance, Skinner learns that an alien virus recently created in secret by US Government officials has replaced several humans, including several high-ranking FBI personnel, with so-called alien "Super Soldiers". Krycek claims that the soldiers are virtually unstoppable who want to make sure that humans do not survive the imminent colonization of Earth. But, they have learned that Scully's baby is a miraculous special child that they fear may be greater than them.
