This is a vintage July 14, 1959 unused ticket stub for ABC show held at the Little Theatre located at 240 West 44th Street between B'way and 8th Avenue, New York: Who Do You Trust? starring Johnny Carson. 3:15pm show. The Little Theatre was a Broadway theatre designed by the architect Harry Creighton Ingalls of the firm Ingalls Hoffman, and built by Winthrop Ames. It's name was chosen due to both its small size (seating capacity of only 300) and its goal to create intimate productions. The theatre opned on March 12, 1912 and reopened in 1979 when it was bought by Martin Markinson and Donald Tick from Westinghouse Broadcasting for $800,000. The Theatre was renamed Helen Hayes Theatre for Helen Hayes in 1983. Who do You Trust? is an American Television game show that aired on ABC from Sept 30, 1957 to Nov 15, 1957 at 4:30pm Eastern and from Nov 18, 1957 to Dec 27, 1963 at 3:30pm Eastern.The series was initially emceed by Johnny Carson and announced by Bill Nimmo who was replaced as year after by Ed McMahon and the two spent the majority of their carrers together until they departed in 1962 when Johnny Carson was hired to take over from Jack Paar on NBC's The Tonight Show. Woody Woodbury took over the Who Do You Trust ? hosting position. Measures 4" x 1-1/2 with hinge mark at back taken from a photo album. Shipping is $1.00 to anywhere in the USA.
