Item description

Original unpublished photographs of the U.S. Naval Radio Station in Balboa, Canal Zone (which the compiler also referred to as "NPJ" in other photos); the S.S. Ellis; the Radio Panel aboard the S.S. Coppename; the English Mule Transport; and the American Sugar Co. Refinery in New Orleans, Louisiana. These images are adhered on opposite pages of a photo album that originally belonged to, and was compiled sometime beginning in 1914, by William Roy Snyder. We know he served in the military during WWI, and later he worked for Metropolitan Sound Studios, Inc. and was involved in the filming of several Hollywood movies. He was also employed by Tropical Radio Co. of New Orleans. The full pages measure 8 x 5.5. Condition: These are original, unpublished photographs, most likely one of a kind. They are in very good condition. Comments:
