Item description
During a pastel painting class, my student borrowed my camera and snapped a photo of a female cardinal in my rhododendron. This pastel painting is from that photograph. I plan to split the profit of the sale of this painting with her since she's the photographer and I'm the artist! Also, if you are unfamiliar with pastel painting, read on. The pastel sticks are made of pure pigment with minimal binder. It is an immediate, dry, and vibrant medium to paint with. If properly handled and framed, the vibrancy will rarely lessen.
