Be sure to add me to your favorites list Vintage Soviet Red Army BRDM-1 Armored Reconnaissance Car, 3 1/4" Long Die Cast Metal Tank with Metal Base, Made by the Tula Cartridge Works in Russia! This is an approximately 30 year old die cast metal armored car, the BRDM-1, which was made in Russia not long after the dissolution of the USSR. It was made by the Tula Cartridge Works, which is best known for the ammunition it produces. This armoured car is all metal with the exception of the wheels which are plastic. The base of the tank is also metal (there is another version that was made which had a plastic base and this one is nicer). It is 3 1/4" inches long, a bit longer if you include the trailer hitch on the rear of this armored car. It's in very good condition overall with a few scuffs in the paint on the body, and the painted headlights and red stars look good as well. The real BRDM-1 was amphibious, which explains it's boat-like shape. This is an interesting Russian collectable of this great recon / scout vehicle! Thanks for looking! Check out my Store!
