Named from a Big Star song as covered by the Bangles, September Girls comprise Paula Cullen on bass and vocals, Sarah Grimes on drums, Caoimhe Derwin on rhythm guitar and vocals, Lauren Kerchner on keys and vocals and Jessie Ward on lead guitar and vocals. Drawing inspiration from the likes of The Cure, My Bloody Valentine and Jesus and Mary Chain, the five-piece band plays reverb-soaked noise-pop of the finest order.
