Up for your consideration is this Unique Vintage Mid Century Modernist Abstract Rare "Artist Proof" Lithograph by Listed Artist Joseph Cox III. Straight out of a Mid Century Modern Estate Sale. The piece is Titled "Abstract #3" and is signed by the artist in the lower right hand corner. "Artist Proof" is located between the title of the piece and the artist's signature. It is a beautiful Modernist Work! The Cincinnati Art Museum held an exhibition of his work in September, 2008 Titled: "In Retrospect: The Works Of Joseph Cox III," an exhibition that features artwork from each period of his career. The size of the work itself Measures approximately 16" X 12 1/2" and is in Very Good Vintage Condition. There appears to be a small smudge at the bottom between "Abstract #3" and "Artist's Proof". With frame measures 24" Long X 20" High X 3/4" Thick. The frame is in Fair Vintage Condition with the usual signs of age and wear. Frame is solid but has considerable wear.
