Hand Wash This cute teapot is in the shape of an old woman with a shawl and umbrella. She is multi-colored with yellow umbrella, purple and green dress, pink cape. She was produced by H J Wood in the mid 1930s and is marked Made in England on the bottom. Her registration number is 82653. She is approximately 8 inches tall with the lid on. The bottom measures approximately 5 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches. In black ink under the glaze on the bottom it is marked: J.W.C. 3. There is a great deal of age crazing on this one, which is to be expected of ceramics from this time period. She will display nicely with other vintage teapots.
