It allows you to use a household AC device in the car. There are numerous interchangeable part numbers. We have listed them in the SUMMARY section. We cannot guarantee which one of those numbers you will receive, but they are interchangeable. The wiring harness and the AC outlet itself are not included, but they are available in another listing. The mounting brackets are not included but are available. (You should already have them, since we're selling this for exact replacement...) This has never been in a vehicle. It was removed from an assembly line leftover console. However, it was stored with the black side down and got scratched up as a result. It's not seen after install and has no bearing on functionality, obviously. This listing is for the item pictured only.
