Item description

Epiphyllum Oxypetalum (also known as Queen of the Night, Dutchman's Pipe Cactus, Night Blooming Cereus, Princess of the Night, and Lady of the Night) is an unusual orchid cactus that open in the evening, releasing a wonderful perfumed scent at night, and close at daybreak. Orchid cactus is a surprisingly easy plants to grow as it can thrive on neglect. It is well suited for indoors all year round or outdoors in the ground or in a container in zones 9 ? 12. Epiphyllum Oxypetalum has no spines or glochids. The ?leaves? of this plant can be allowed to trail or attached to a lattice to grow upright. The orchid cactus prefers full sun to bright filtered light and to be planted in a blend of potting mix and cactus mix. It is a drought tolerant succulent but should be watered when the soil is fully dry. There are 3 options for this listing: 2 unrooted cuttings Or 2" Rooted Starter Pot Or 3" Rooted Stater Pot To root cuttings simply let the cut end harden off (dry thoroughly) then place it into soil cut side down. **Shipping** I combine shipping. Please check out my other listings! To combine shipping please add items to your cart and do one single checkout. Please request an invoice for orders over 3+ items as the shipping rates tend to become exaggerated and I will adjust them for you. I can fit multiple items into one flat rate box to save $$. Happy planting! Shipping is done early in the week to avoid long exposures over the weekend. Every now and then things do happen at the Post Office during shipping which can leave your plant damaged beyond saving. All I ask is for a picture of the DOA plant and I will replace the item. Normal shipping wear should be expected ? a leaf may fall off or soil can be disrupted. However - if you are in a cold climate - many plants do hold up fine during shipping but if you would like to add a heat pack they are listed in my shop. I will not replace for cold damage if you choose not to purchase the heat pack. Most importantly -- I appreciate my buyers!!! Please contact me with any plant concerns or questions before leaving feedback. I am here to help. :)
