Offered a Gorgeous Antique Diamond Belcher ring from the popular Victorian Period~ Circa late 1800's. The ring features a beautiful .15ct Old European cut Diamond with excellent sparkle brilliance~ GIA H/VS2/SI. The belcher ring was made popular in the late 1800's by jewelers that would use one band of gold and cut away part of the gold forming prongs. This would allow the gem to be set secure and slightly raised. The Belcher setting allows plenty of light underneath your gemstone for maximum sparkle brilliance. This jeweler did a masterful job creating hand carved etched detail on either side as well as carving beaded milgrain on the inside on the prongs. The setting is crafted in solid 12K Yellow Gold. The ring is a size 3 1/2 and may be re-sized. It weighs 1.5 grams. This vintage Treasure is over 100 years old and considered a true Antique. It's in excellent condition for it's age.
