It is HANDMADE from PLATINUM with 18K GOLD on the backside of the bow. The spring ring clasp on the platinum chain is not original, it is 14K white gold and stamped 585. The BOW PENDANT has a LARGE ROSE CUT DIAMOND DROP that is PEAR SHAPED and weighs approx. .75 ct. This diamond has a light grayish color, that was typical of rose cuts for the period, with SI1 clarity. It measures approx. 7.5 x 5.8 x 1.85 mm. The bow is set with 42 ROSE CUT DIAMONDS of J color, SI to I clarity that weigh approx. .30 ctw., along with 2 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .04 ctw. The total diamond weight is approx. 1.09 ctw. The bow measures 1-1/8? across and the entire pendant portion measures 7/8? long with the diamond drop. The total weight is 4.2 grams and the total length is 16-5/8? long. I am thinking that the pendant may have been rhodium plated at some point because the yellow gold on the back is a faint yellow.
