Item description

My friend has authorized a 10% Discount Coupon. Please use Code WINTERSALE2020 at check-out. This is a pair of ANTIQUE, VINTAGE, EXCELLENT Condition, Marked “Stainless Steel Sewing Scissors" made by J.A. Schmidt Soehne in Solingen, Germany in the early-1930s. Belonging to my friend’s grandmother who purchased them around 1933, she used them until she passed away in 1979. Stored in a box in my friend’s mothers attic, they are recently rediscovered. In EXCELLENT Working Condition, there is minor, age appropriate wear and I would suggest that they be cleaned, tightened and sharpened; they come from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Measuring approximately 5 1/8th inches long, the metal rivet is securely intact; they are Marked "J.A. Schmidt Soehne - Solingen" around the Schmidt Son Logo. Please SEE Pictures for visible minor condition issues. These HANDSOME Scissors still have a lot of life left in them. Use as intended or display them as part of a sewing implements collection. IDEAL for creating hand cut detailing, these STURDY Scissors have an aesthetically pleasing shape, making them IDEAL for display in any room. VERY Collectable, these German Scissors are quite useful, as well as ELEGANT enough to add CHARM any place they are shown. PERFECT for use, this piece of history is also IDEAL for display.
