Item description

1978 Vintage Picture Postcard, Delta Airliner, QSL Card WD4NAW Amateur Radio Station Interesting Postcard at the height of airline travel sent from "Earl West" of Decatur Georgia (DeKalb county) features the "Delta" airlines logo. On the front side a Delta airline airplane printed in grey-scale, almost like a watermark. Handwritten message in red ink, dated March 1978. There is a purple stamping across the middle of the airplane, the only letter we could make out are "W" and then "LM" perhaps a postal mark. The back (address side) features a "Right of the People Peacefully to Assemble" 9 cent postage which is canceled, but no dated postmark. The handwritten information and message is dated March 29, 1978 and simply signed "EARL" CONDITION: Good condition. No pinholes tears, discoloration, stains or smudges. If looking at the front (picture side) a small wrinkle can be seen through the "W" and the upper left corner has a slight crease. ********* Hello there, thank you for stopping by to look at my items!.
