Some Hallmark products are better than others, and this is definitely one of the better ones!
It seems sturdy and well-made, the light features are vibrant without being annoying, and the sound is on-demand when you use the remote, so it’s not endlessly playing the theme from Star Trek. Nice, clear sound - it’s like having Captain Kirk standing right there in my living room.
We’ll never put it up on a tree (it will go on a table instead), but there is a rod with Velcro strips attached to help you secure it to the top of your tree if you wish. The remote is a nice feature.
I was so pleased with this one that I ordered a second one as a gift!
