Item description
Pre-viewed for quality and everything looks like new.
HAUNTED STRANGLER opens in 1860 at Newgate Prison, where a jeering mob witnesses the hanging of one-armed Edward Styles for the showgirl murders of the Haymarket Strangler.
Twenty years later a criminologist and writer of mystery novels, James Rankin (Boris Karloff) reopens the old murder case believing that the man hanged was innocent. Turns out he was right! It was himself who was the killer.
After picking up the cursed knife (the reason it was hidden to begin with) he becomes the killer again. But, in a Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde turn, his physical appearence alters slightly and he has no memory of commiting the crimes afterwards.
Rare and Out Of Print in all formats.
