Vintage original 27x40 in. US double-sided advance one-sheet poster from the popular 1990's Chinese-themed animated musical war fantasy, MULAN, released in 1998 by Buena Vista and co-directed by Tony Bancroft and Barry Cook. To save her father from death in the army, a young maiden secretly goes in his place and becomes one of China's greatest heroines in the process. The film features the voices of Min-Na Wen, Lea Salonga, Eddie Murphy, B.D. Wong, Donny Osmond, Miguel Ferrer, Pat Morita, and James Shigeta. The image features beautiful artwork depicting the courageous young Chinese maiden with her war horse, rendered in the predominant colors of black and red. This advance one-sheet was issued for display at theaters inside of a light box before the film was released. On the bottom right corner of the verso is the small print which authenticates that this poster is an original and not a bootleg fake. This is truly a beautiful piece of artwork in its own right. Unrestored and rolled as originally issued, it is in very fine+ condition without any pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws.
