Vintage Hand Crocheted Orange Flower Squares and 42 similar items

We were cleaning grandma's storage unit and found a trunk full of hand-crocheted afghan throws and bed spreads. Crocheting and quilting was her favorite past time. This one is a colorful orange flowers green leaves squares, crocheted in a similar way as doilies with lace-like flower center. Measures about 65" WIDE x 65" LONG (162.5 x 162.5 cm). Measurements were taken on flat surface and un-stretched. The size suggests a crib or child's blanket Thickness of the yarn suggested a wool blend, the 'feel' is of a blended yarn as was typical in the 60-70's. Weighs in about 5-7 pounds === shipping weight will be around 8-9 pounds. The throw/blanket is basically clean, and intact. Never been used. There might be some minor smell associated with prolonged storage (considering it's been 40-45 years in there). I was "airing" it outside on front lawn. I have not attempted to clean it. Possible 'fluffing" of the blanket in a dryer (on "low" settings) with dryer sheets may work to remove it. Whether you are a fan of 60-70's or just like that BOHO or MOD ambience or love handmade items - this is for you. Would add a splash of color to your bedroom or living room or den.
