Item description
Catalog Number: 422-820-159-1-R-1
Condition Details:
Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Non gate-fold cover looks good; light-scuffing, creases, surface impressions and faint discoloration spots (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white); price sticker near center. Spine is easy-to-read, with some wear. Little shelf-wear along top-edge, heavier wear along bottom edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use and divots. Non-gatefold, 1985 pressing. (Not a cut-out.)
Tracks:
Lost In A Lost World
New Horizons
For My Lady
Isn't Life Strange
You And Me
The Land Of Make-Believe
When You're A Free Man
I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band)
About The Record:
Seventh Sojourn, by The Moody Blues, reached no. 5 in the UK, and became the band's first American chart topper, spending five weeks at no. 1 to close out 1972. Two hit singles came from this album: Isn't Life Strange (no. 13 UK, no. 29 US) and I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band) (no. 36 UK, no. 12 US). The opening track, Mike Pinder's Lost in a Lost World laments the brutality of revolution and references racial tension. Several songs contain overt political references. However, although the album showcases political concerns, bassist John Lodge described I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band) as a response to fans who mistakenly read guru-like wisdom into the Moodies' lyrics.
