The plants we ship show in the pictures as of June 2021. This is a rare species native to Brazil. It has tiny greenish-blue dainty leaves making it a very attractive foliage plant on its own. The scarlet red pom-pom blooms can be seen on and off throughout the year. Also known as Trinidad Flame Bush, Red Tassel Flower, Mexican Flame Bush, and Red Powder Puff Family: Fabaceae The dainty leaves are much smaller than the common powder puff tree and it makes this plant perfect for Bonsai. This species also blooms on and off throughout the year. The flowers are deep scarlet red and attract hummingbirds. It grows up to 6 feet only. We grow it in full to partial sun. It likes average water but can tolerate some drought. It can be grown in the ground in tropical locations or in a container. Pictures are shown for reference only.
