I have a troybilt edger that had a broken crankshaft, I was able to take this casing/chrankshaft/cylinder head and repair my edger. not exactly the same model, and i knew that. but close enough that it was able to make the fix. The crankshafts on these troy-bilts are just pressfit in the bearing set and tend to "walk" out over time causing them to bind and interfere with the connecting rod. pressing them apart and knurling the crankshaft for a tighter fit seems to be the only way to fix them. It was a good price for the parts.
