Vtg. Fisher Price Little People #992 Car and and similar items

Here for your consideration is a COMPLETE Fisher Price Car and Camper (#992) playset. Manufactured between 1980-84, this set is 100% COMPLETE and in EXC++-NEAR MINT condition! The playset consists of a red and white station wagon with a fold-down back seat, a green and yellow 4 passenger boat that rests on top of the station wagon, a pop-up tent camper with fold-down steps along with a built-in kitchen and sleeping quarters, and a yellow storage container that fits on top of the tent trailer when it's collapsed. The station wagon's lithos are in EXC++-NEAR MINT condition. The ONLY flaws I can discern is some minor edge wear on the driver's side litho and some clear scotch tape applied to end of both lithos. I will be attempting to remove this with Goo Gone. If it looks like I'm damaging the lithos, I will cease and desist. Other than a couple of scuffs, a few "dings," and a couple of extraneous marks, the station wagon is in REMARKABLE condition. The tires and axles are bright and shiny and do not appear to have ever touched the ground. The plastic surfaces still boast their original cream and red colors. I'm lowering my overall rating of this station wagon to EXC++-NEAR MINT solely on the basis of the aforementioned tape on the station wagon's side lithos. Otherwise, this vehicle would warrant a NEAR MINT rating. The pop-up tent camper is in NEAR MINT- MINT condition. Its lithos are clean, vibrant, and smoothly attached to their underlying surfaces. The only "imperfections" I can spy on this pop-up camper are: one faint smudge of dirt on the cloth top and the drop down step hangs open slightly. As far as the smudge is concerned, I anticipate this will readily come off with an application of Shout. The rest of the top cloth cover is IMPECCABLE with its original, bright, canary yellow color. The drop down step stays upright until depressed. The yellow/green boat is in VG++-EXC condition with some surface scratching being discerned on the bottom of the boat. I think a gentle buffing with Armor All Wipes may help camouflage some of these. The yellow storage container is in EXC condition. The litho shows some light soiling, some minor edge wear, and a couple of light surface scratches. The hinge for the car top carrier is PERFECT! The accessories for this OUTSTANDING play set include: 1 HTF red motorcycle (NEAR MINT-MINT--one "ding" on the right front fender; the wheels don't even look like they've ever touched the ground!); 1 VHTF lime green picnic table w/steak litho (NEAR MINT- onc corner displays some lifting and a minor crease; I will be resecuring this corner with rubber cement); 2 HTF lime green picnic benches (both MINTY MINT); 2 HTF lime green lounge chairs (both NEAR MINT- MINT); 1 VHTF yellow 3 legged or Y shaped grill with hot dogs and steak litho (EXC++-NEAR MINT--minor rubs on edge of litho---NOTE: this Y shaped grill is UNIQUE to this set); and 4 plastic people. These include: 1 tall, green bodied Dad with heatstamped hair (MINTY MINT); 1 tall, blue bodied Mom with blonde pony (EXC++-minor edge wear around middle and bottom of piece); 1 short bodied red girl with rust scrulpted hair (MINT); 1 VHTF yellow bodied boy with red cap facing forward, smiling face, and freckles (EXC-EXC++--"hint" of some nibbles on hat brim and some minor edge wear around middle and bottom of piece). Most of the accessories fit inside the storage container while the family is traveling (e.g. picnic benches, lounge chairs, picnic table, and grill). I will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaning this set and all its accessories using a variety of cleaning products (e.g. Dawn Anti-bacterial Dish Soap, Goo-Gone, Soft Scrub, Shout, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser etc. etc.) I routinely spend a MINIMUM of 1 -1 1/2 hours cleaning every set I sell so you can be confident it'll be spanking clean! These playsets are NOT a part of the recent Fisher Price recall for toys imported from China. These sets are NOT designed for children that are still mouthing toys or below 3 years of age. For domestic shipping on the mainland U.S., I've been finding that Fed Ex Home Delivery has been running about 33% cheaper than the USPS (Parcel Post) and UPS Ground for domestic shipments in the mainland U.S. This is particularly true for those packages weighing in excess of 5 lbs., oversized packages, or those traveling longer distances. In order for me to ship Fed Ex, I need a residential address, not a P.O. Box, and a home or cell phone number. Packages traveling to Alaska or Hawaii will travel via Parcel Post and will be insured. I charge the ACTUAL cost of the shipping based on the weight of your package, its size, and its destination. I do NOT charge any handling fees. Since the shipping calculator does not afford Fed Ex Home Delivery as an option, I MUST enter these charges manually on your INVOICE. Therefore, PLEASE do NOT send payment until I can secure these charges for you. Plus, because of its light weight and size, this particular set may be shipped via the USPS as it may be cheaper than Fed Ex Home Delivery. However, I respectfully request that you wait for a COMBINED INVOICE from me before sending payment. I'm willing to ship selected items to Canada and Australia. However, be advised that the shipping costs to these countries are much higher than here in the mainland United States.
