Antique Cabinet Photograph of Grace May Merrow of Auburn, Maine. She is identified on the reverse side of the photograph. Photo by the Worthley studio of Lewiston, Maine. Measures 4.25 " x 6.5" including mount. Her family genealogy is recorded in the book, ยฟRichard Pinkham of Old Dover, New Hampshire and His Descendants East and West,ยฟ by Charles Nelson Sinnett. Grace was born August 5, 1873 in Auburn, Maine. On September 5, 1897 she was married to Nahum Polk Merrill of Auburn. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a reproduction. It is in excellent condition.
Additional Information about the Merrow Family: This photograph comes from a family album that belonged to the Omar Bond Merrow estate. Omar, who was the brother of Grace, was a successful cattle dealer in Auburn, Maine. This photo will be accompanied by a photocopy of an article in the Lewiston, Maine newspaper regarding his will and estate. The family is still memorialized by the street name "Merrow Road" in Auburn.
