Item description
These charming ceramic carpet balls feature an intricate pinkish orange colored floral patterns on an off-white base. Their spherical design and hand painted pattern reminiscent of balls used in Victorian parlor games adds a touch of timeless elegance and make a lovely addition to any collection or decorating style.
? Each measures approximately 3 inches in diameter and are nicely round, but not completely so, giving a handmade appearance. The set ways approximately 15 ounces.
? Ceramic material with a semi-gloss glaze finish.
? Each has a small hole important to the ceramic firing process that can also be used to keep spheres safely in place by placing the balls over a very narrow nail or peg.
Both of these spheres are in wonderful preowned condition with no signs of damage or excessive usage. We did want to point out that there are three small marks close to the small vent hole on each that have been touched up with paint or glaze after the firing process. We don?t consider these small marks to be damage but rather they are part of the manufacturer process and do not interfere with the beauty of these decorative balls.
