Light age-toning to the end-papers as usual, a line of small cream stain dots and a faint glass-ring to the front cover, mild soils to the rear cover, lower spine end chipped, else firm, sound and good in black linen with gilt embossed titles to the spine, deckle page fore-edges; lacking a dust jacket.
