These beautifully handcrafted lei are made from genuine, high quality bubble shells with a kukui nut fastened at each end. The lei measures approximately 29 inches, however, they can be made longer depending on how they are tied with the satin ribbon. They can also be shortened by removing some of the rosettes. May also be used as a traditional headband. Since they are handcrafted with real shells, no two are alike. The shells vary in sizes. These can also be taken apart to use the bubble shell rosettes for other projects. Each rosette has 8 shells.
