Item description
Well preserved tent revival hymnal from near the end of the family's traveling days. By 1958, Rex was starting out in Television. Some foxing, light wear. Decent photographic reproductions.
Humbard was an innovator--he brought evangelic ministry to television in the late 1950's, building his Cathedral of Tomorrow near here in the 60's. He got his start at camp meetings, traveling from town to town as a teen with his father and brother--also a Baptist preacher who built a large following in a neighboring industrial valley.
This may well be the last of the hymnals issued at the tent gates of his revivals.
Winning bid pays economy shipping to any location serviced by domestic USPS including APO. Please allow additional time for deliveries outside the contiguous 48 states.
