AWESOME GATOR WRANGLER TOOTH NECKLACE
NOT a "BOY" NECKLACE! Not for the faint of heart!
(#G157-50) You are bidding on a necklace made with LARGE Alligator tooth. (Alligator Mississippiensis). This gator was caught legally in Louisiana.
ONE TOOTH
2-7/8" tooth.
On large round white cow bone beads 10 mm, using black round leather cord, 23.5" long
; barrel twist closure.
WE MAKE THESE NECKLACES OURSELVES, and recommend them for their unique designs and high quality of beads, wire teeth.
Please inquire if you wish it to be shortened or lengthened
THIS IS A STOCK PHOTO, SLIGHT VARIATION IN TEETH MAY VARY.
Gators are raised on farms in Louisiana; those hunted during the legal hunt are required to be processed at the farm. The hides are sold for leather products, the meat is eaten locally or prepared as jerky, the guts go into the cat and dog food industry ("animal byproducts") and the heads and feet (freeze dried and coated in polyurethane) and teeth are sold to commercial stores. Gators have three sets of teeth, one inside the other (like Tupperware) that's why they're hollow; teeth are shed periodically. Teeth are measured from the top edge, with a flexible ruler, over the curve, to the tip.
