Item description
Vintage original 47 x 63 in. French grande poster from the 1950s Italian-French co-production drama, UN MUNDO PARA MI (SOFT SKIN ON BLACK SILK), released in France in 1959 and directed by José Antonio de la Loma. On a lonely beach in the Mediterranean, a man and woman meet. She takes his to her summer villa, where he reveals a deadly secret-- a plan of murder. Seeking to dissuade him, the woman relates the story of Andre and Theresa, a story of youthful passion and murderous revenge. The cast includes Agnès Laurent, Armand Mestral, Barbara Laage, Vicente Parra, and Sandrine.
As indicated near the center of the right border, the beautiful and colorful artwork was designed by Jean Mascii. Unrestored and folded as originally issued, it is in fine condition as shown with a Canadian censor stamp in the top right panel.
