It is used in many of the DVD LCD rear seat entertainment systems for the vehicles listed below. This drive is not available through Ford. If your DVD player no longer loads, ejects and/or plays DVDs and you are fairly handy, replace the drive yourself and save a bundle. There was more than one drive style used, so you will want to match this one to yours. See item 272429436254 if yours doesn't look like this. The drive is flashed with a logo at the factory, so it could say either Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury on your screen when you fire the system up. We cannot change this and it does not affect functionality of the drive in any manner. But we wanted to make you aware of the possibility. APPLICATIONS This works in many of the following vehicles, and many other Ford/Lincoln/Mercury products from the same years, with the small (@13x9) square OEM system. But make sure this is the drive you need. We have provided a picture. Your drive must look virtually identical to this one. (With the exception of number stampings, of course.)
