Item description
RABELAISIAN REPRISE
by Jayge Carr
Laurie Dolphin jacket art.
New York: Doubleday, 1988.
First edition, first printing.
Contains publisher's statement "First edition" to the copyright page, "1988" date printed to the title page, and first printing date code "0488" printed to the jacket's rear inner flap.
Jayce Carr, pen name of Margery Ruth Krueger, worked as a nuclear physicist for NASA and authored a very long list of science fiction short stories, and four science fiction novels.
This is the third and final novel in her popular Rabelais series featuring a world where laws, government, morals, and ethics are over-rode and been eliminated by legal, manipulative, and powerful contracts.
Contracts that can own, enslave, and kill.
Very nearly fine in deep-blue boards with cream embossed titles to the spine; in a nearly fine dust jacket with a short tear from the upper edge of the rear panel; original $12.95 printed price still intact to the front inner flap.
Octavo; 212 pages.
