Movie Still from the classic Crime Club produced mystery film.
From the filmed novel by Jonathan Latimer: HEADED FOR A HEARSE.
Promotional scene photograph for the 1937 Universal release.
Features six actors looking at a paper clue.
8" by 10" with official Hollywood "approved"stamp to the verso dated "Aug 16, 1937". Also attached to the verso is a typed label, containing the title and description of the scene with actors credited.
Directed by Christy Cabanne, the film features Detective Crane played by Preston Foster.
The actors pictured in this scene still are Preston Foster, Henry Hall, Russell Hicks, Bryant Washburn, Clarence Wilson and Ben Lewis.
Minor crease to upper left border corner tip, else nearly fine on thick card-stock in glossy black-and-white.
Scarce and well-preserved Hollywood item!
