There is a process to initializing a new printhead. If you dont do it right and use new inks to do it you will likely have some troubles. And remember that gravity will work in your favor. install and a couple of clean cycles (2) and let it sit for a while when it doesn't immediately work. Don't just burn thru your inks. Be patient sometimes. And our phone number is posted for help if you need. I've tested thru some 100 printers a week for nearly ten years. Call me. canon power supplies are a electrical part. plugging them into a defective printer will often ruin them due to a short in the printer. these items are also listed as no refunds just for this reason.
