This Heirloom is native to China where the wild forms are still grown today. In ancient times, the radish was spread to Middle Asia where many different forms were developed and were spread across Mediterranean. Roughly around 1500’s Radishes were under cultivation in Mexico and later became an American favorite since the mid-20th century. This 1 inch round, vivid scarlet roots are tipped with white and the flesh is bright white, crisp with mild sweet flavor.
