There was a real bridge there, once upon a time, over the Michigan Bar canal in western Amador County, California, near Sacramento. David Camardo (1939-2023) lived and painted in the rural Gold Country of Amador County, California and in Le Brusc, France. He began studying art in 1962 and lived for more than 40 years in Woodside, California. Through the years he received prizes and commissions for painting, sculpture, and drawings, which have been exhibited in numerous shows in northern California, both group and solo.
