This OEM valley cover pan cover had surface rust, so was sandblasted and painted Cadillac Dark Blue (Bill Hirsch). Was placed in parts washer overnight and rinsed best as possible prior to sandblasting, cannot guarantee how clean it is inside. Gasket surfaces are clean. This is period correct for 1953-1964 Cadillacs, but will also fit 1949-1952 Cadillacs as it is the same part number in Cadillac Master Parts book. This was removed from a 1953 Cadillac with a 331 engine hydramatic trans, but may fit vehicles listed in compatibility chart; fitment verified by Cadillac Master Parts List 8.1940; please do your own research as we do not offer refunds if it does not fit your vehicle.
