It is in very good condition, with no holes or tears, but there is some light wear at the seams of the edges. There are also some small surface scuffs and scrapes to the finish. I am unsure of the age of the hat box. It is a nice, large size, great for large, medium to wide brimmed hats. It is 9.25" tall, 8" deep, and 12.25" in diameter. It is a lovely, vintage hat box, still in very usable condition.
