Orchid Rhinestone and Pearl Brooch Vintage and 10 similar items

This is a lovely brooch with many fine details that make it stand out in the crowd. First of all, the outer and inner petals of the orchid have nice depth and sit up 1/2 inch which is perfect to stand out in the folds of a scarf. Beautiful pale pink aurora borealis rhinestones are set in pave style and are outlined in gold tone metal on each of the outer orchid petals. Tiny seed pearls are clustered delicately on the inner petals, and a citrine colored marquise rhinestone represents the orchid's very center. A row of baguettes adorn the gracefully curved stem, and feature a pretty range of peacock blues and greens, also in the aurora borealis finish. But, even after all of this loveliness, my favorite detail is the way the stem is cut on the diagonal just as florists do to increase water uptake, and has two small rhinestone chatons to finish it off. A really spectacular brooch. 2 5/8" long x 1 3/4" wide. 1/2" height. Vintage jewelry is rarely perfect.
