Vntg 40s Dragons Breath Mexico 925 Sterling and similar items

Gorgeous, glowing red, pink, purple art glass stones are the focal points of this bracelet and ring which are in a classic Mexico Silver design. The bracelet has three panels of curved segments hinged together and have a bar tube clasp. The ring has a stone of same shape color matching the bracelet. I acquired them from the same estate – and they match well, and I am not 100% certain they are a “set” – they match so well! Most likely made in 1930s before Mexico started using the eagle mark system. The bracelet is 7” x 1 5/8”; the raised, hollow balls are undented, a common malady in Mexico Sterling constructed items from the 30s/40s; the arched links and hinges works smoothly – two out of the three have slightly squared bends and I don’t know if that was original or whether they all three were exactly the same when new – at any rate, they works properly; the Sterling finish bears patina more noticeable on the backside than the frontside which is more shiny – of course the new owner can decide whether to let is tarnish more or make it shinier; the clasp works correctly and securely; marked with a triangle that reads, “EN HENCHO MEXICO GUADALAJARA” (city in state of Jalisco, Mexico) with “R.L. 925” inside the mark. It is in very good to excellent vintage condition. The ring sturdily built; the stone is as bright as when it was new. All four stones are ” x ” bezel set in a 1 1/8” x 1” platform; marked “925 Guad.ATJM” with a symbol I can’t make out – there may be more stamped on the back of the ring top, but its hard to make out due to where the shanks are welded to it. Overall, it is in excellent, vintage condition.
