Item description
This antique 1880s Haviland Co Limoges Moss Rose Porcelain Cake Plate is a charming and delicate piece of Victorian-era dinnerware. Made in France, the round plate features a beautiful pink Moss Rose pattern with pink decorative edging that adds a touch of elegance to any dining table.
There are 2 stamps on the bottom; black Haviland Co Limoges (used 1879-1889) in green H Co (used 1876-1889).
With a diameter of 9.5 inches, this original piece from the 19th century is a collector's item that requires hand washing to preserve its intricate design. Perfect for serving cakes or desserts, or to use as a dinner plate this porcelain plate is a timeless addition to any kitchen or dining room.
Please note you should handwash any vintage or antique porcelain pieces.
As with any antique item you should expect signs of wear and use. No cracks, chips or crazing noted. There are small spots with paint missing around the edge. Please review all pictures as they are part of the description. I tried to include the spots of missing paint, many are too small to show well in pictures.
