The gens Rubria was a pleabian family whose plebeian rank is inferred from Rubrius, a tribune of the people, having carried a law named after him, the lex Rubria.
Obverse: Helmeted bust of Minerva right, wearing aegis; DOS behind~Unabridged legend: Dossenus .
Reverse: Triumphal chariot with side panel decorated with eagle on thunderbolt; above, Victory flying above chariot to right; L?RVBRI in exergue~Unabridged legend: Lucius Rubrius.
NGC Certified and Graded Ch VF (Choice Very Fine).
