Item description
Up for bid is a Rare 8" 2004 Signed Frank Stofan Trees Blue Drip Glazed Pottery Vase EUC. There are no cracks, chips, or discoloration anywhere on the vase. Please see all photos before making a bid.
Some Background Information:
Frank Stofan has owned his own studio since 1998 and has worked on developing a line of ash glazed pottery that is not only collectible, but usable as dinnerware.
Each piece of fine white stoneware is hand thrown, glazed, and fired to 2300 degrees. The wood ash glaze is formulated with ashes recycled from his neighbors wood stoves. The ashes help melt the other elements in the glaze, creating the tree-like effect found on many of his pieces.
Frank?s pottery is food, microwave and dishwasher safe.
