Charming set of vintage stamped-for-embroidery linens featuring bluebirds, red flowers, and green leaves. All four pieces are unstitched and edged in delicate lace.
Includes:
(2) Napkin-size pieces ? approx. 13" x 10"
(1) Table mat or dresser scarf ? approx. 11.75" x 20"
(1) Long table runner ? approx. 15" x 45"
Clean and unused with no stains, holes, or embroidery. Perfect for hand-stitching, crafting, or vintage display.
Stamped-for-embroidery linens became popular in the early to mid-20th century, especially from the 1930s through the 1960s. These pre-printed designs were sold as kits or blanks, allowing home crafters to create beautiful hand-embroidered pieces without needing to transfer patterns themselves. Companies offered a wide range of motifs printed directly onto linens. Many were finished with lace trim and intended for hope chests or home decor.
