"I have been a devoted fan of hers ever since I heard Solace back in 1993. I have waited with bated breath for every new release since and I haven't been disappointed, and am happy to say especially now. Afterglow is nothing but beautiful! Since the release of her last album she's gotten married, lost her mother and given birth. It seems as if these events have only made her lyrics more meaningful than ever before, and her melodies even more pure. I found myself being quite emotional upon listening to this CD, identifying with many issues pertaining to loss, the love of a child, and feeling at peace with things that I can not change. I love every song, and can not point out any particular song that I loved more than another. I just highly recommend it as a beautiful piece of music as a whole."
