During the 30’s and 40’s, the soap bar was named, after King Farouk, with “Nabulsi Farouk '' written in diwani script on the bars. Following 1952, the name went back to “Nabulsi Shaheen.” Its advertisements often featured music and film stars such as Umm Kulthum.
