This is a rare copy of magazine MAN MYTH MAGIC WITH VERY RARE ZODIAC POSTER Volume 1 Number 2. 112 parts published weekly over 2 years starting in 1970, by Purnell Publishing. 8-3/4 x 11-3/4 and printed on heavy stock paper, each issue contains 32 pages (including the covers) of articles and b/w and color illustrations and pictures . Man, Myth Magic was an influential encyclopedia of the supernatural, including magic, mythology and religion, edited by Richard Cavendish. The Art Director was Brian Innes, formerly percussionist with The Temperance Seven. It was originally published by Purnell in the UK market with 112 weekly issues beginning in 1970. It contained over 1,000 articles with some 5,000 illustrations, many of them in full colour. Binders were available from the publisher, organizing the encyclopedia into seven volumes. An extra binder was also provided specially for the magazine covers. The contributors were made up of more than two hundred academics and specialists in their respective fields writing in a generally accessible style.
