USS Bunker Hill CV17 San Diego Naval Ship WWII Aircraft Carrier Vintage Postcard
This vintage postcard depicts the USS Bunker Hill (CV-17), a World War II-era aircraft carrier moored in San Diego, California. Built by Bethlehem Shipbuilding Co. and launched on December 7, 1942, the ship earned eleven Battle Stars and the Presidential Unit Citation. Decommissioned on January 9, 1947, it remains a historical symbol of naval strength.
