Arts Crafts Pottery Bud Vase, Peters and Reed, Landsun Trumpet w/Flared Base
Each vase measures approximately 11" high x 6" across mouth, 5" base diameter
Beautiful clay pottery vases with dark hunter green glaze
Trumpet shape mouth to accommodate larger bunches of wild flowers
Made by Peters and Reed Pottery in Zanesville, Ohio
Unmarked indicating production between 1912 and 1921 (antique). Company changed name to Zane Pottery in 1921 and added a maker's mark on items produced after that time.
Previously owned set of two vintage/antique art pottery bud vases. One is in very good condition with no visible signs of damage or repairs. The second one is being included at no extra charge because it has been repaired. The repair was done quite nicely but is still obvious on close inspection. It does, however, expose the red clay which confirms these pieces to be authentic Peters Reed vases.
