board, 8vo (8.25x5.5?), Very Good/Good+, 428pp.
Dust jacket
shows some damp-staining at bottom of spine and on verso, jacket also chipped
and lightly worn heavier at head and tail of spine, corners of jacket also
rubbed, book itself shows sun-tanning to spine, text-block is remarkably clean
and devoid of any marring or previous owner?s signatures. Jacket is not price
clipped.
Quite the
distinctive Capture of Tyme have we here; a first edition of Rawling?s Pulitzer
Prize-winning novel still ensconced within its original dust jacket. This book
was the basis for the 1946 MGM film starring Gregory Peck and Jane Wyman.
