This is vintage concert poster printed on heavy stock paper entitled, "Golden State Country Bluegrass Festival, April 26, 27, 28, Marin's Veterans' Memorial Building And Grounds, San Rafael California". Artwork by Shubb '74. A Jewell Productions Presentation. * This is not one of those new reproductions. It is vintage.
Acts listed are: Vassar Clements, Doc And Merle Watson, Jim and Jesse And The Virginia Boys, Ralph Stanley And The Clinch Mountain Boys, Jimmy Martin, Mac Wiseman, Merle Travis, Doug Dillard, John Hartford, The Greenbriar Boys With Frank Wakefield, Skunk Cabbage, High Country, The Hired Hands, Phantoms Of The Opry, W*st*rn Union (won't allow me to use the correct name due to their shipping policies and this keyword), Cornbread, Buck White And The Down Home Folks. A terrific item for the fan, collector, or folk/bluegrass historian.
Measures 18 1/2" X 27 3/4".
Condition is VG++ (very good ++). Light staple corner holes and some light creases on both sides, otherwise in great vintage condition. Very suitable for framing. Any question as to condition, write and I'll try to answer specifics.
